William brings valuable experience and custom strategies to clients by focusing on investment and risk management, retirement planning, estate planning strategies, educational planning, and tax efficient investing for high net worth individuals, families, foundations, and businesses. William utilizes his own, in addition to the group’s asset allocation strategies, as well as drawing from several sophisticated resources, such as, Wells Fargo Investment Institute. William has been a registered investment professional for over 20 years, continually training and broadening his knowledge of capital markets and economic trends to ensure the preservation, protection, and optimization of his client’s investments. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, William worked at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, UBS Financial Services, and Merrill Lynch.

A graduate of the University of Michigan, William earned his B.A. in finance and subsequently earned his Series 7 and Series 66 registration, along with his annuity and life insurance licenses. As a Michigan native, William has been a resident of the area for over 45 years and he, along with his daughter Emily, live in Fenton, Michigan. William spends much of his time outside of work with his involvement in local children’s charities such as, Old Newsboys and Whaley’s Children’s home, as well as his local church.

The skills Kelson learned as an elite college athlete are cornerstones of his commitment to clients and build the foundation of his client relationships. This includes the importance of determination, the value of hard work, and how essential communication and collaboration lead to success. Kelson takes pride in being a hands-on, consultative, and compassionate advisor who devotes the time to fully understand his clients’ life, family, and business goals in order to create customized strategies that help them build, manage, preserve, and transfer their wealth. Kelson graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy in May, 2022.
